Here are the artists, producers and artisans partners of the Switzerlust box dedicated to Lucerne:

Zuckerpeitsche was founded in 2016 by Christian Eckert. From the beginning, it was very important for its founder to process only natural raw materials of the highest quality, which are the basis for an excellent final product. In its lemonades, no colouring agents, flavour enhancers, artificial flavours or thickeners are used.

Great attention is also paid to the aesthetics of the product.

The products are manufactured and packaged in a traditional way and are now shipped worldwide from Lucerne

For Zuckerpeitsche, the processing and obtaining of raw materials is essential. This has allowed the company to expand its network of producers and distributors over time. For example, it obtains its fruit juice from an organic farmer in Aargau and its cane sugar is from fair trade.

This coffee roasting company with a century-old family tradition originated from a grocery store in the suburbs of Lucerne where Xaver and Anna Rast-Abt opened their business in 1918. Since mid-2016, the family business has been run by two of the 4th generation daughters.

Switzerlust has selected for you a blend of Arabica to drink as a pure espresso or cappuccino. The coffees from Kenya and Guatemala give it a pleasant acidity reminiscent of wild berries. Sumatran arabicas give it strength and body. The hazelnut aromas are due to Indian plantations and Java arabica.

Switzerlust has also thought of people who prefer decaffeinated coffee and has chosen a fine and pronounced caffeine-free blend from fair trade.

The Hofstetter family has created a cheese dairy specializing in sheep’s milk from its modest mountain farm, which is the first cheese dairy in Switzerland to make full use of clean energy.

Shortly before the year 2000, Peter Hofstetter, a mountain farmer who was tired of seeing the price of cow’s milk fall, sold his cows to devote himself to sheep. He then founded the Emscha company with a colleague, followed a training course and set up a cheese dairy in an old barn on his farm.

Emscha is a family business. Peter and Heidi have been running the company since its inception, their son Simon will take over the management and Lukas will take care of the operation. The other three sons also take part in important decisions.
